These are the terms for using Deadliner. They are short on purpose.
Deadliner is a study planner for your own personal use. You may use it for anything lawful. You may not use it to harass anyone, to send people things they have not asked for, or to break into parts of the service that are not yours.
An account is optional and free. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself. If you think somebody else has it, reset it from the app.
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → account → delete account. That removes your account and everything stored with it on our servers.
Your tasks, classes, notes and files are yours. We do not claim any ownership of them and we do not use them to train anything. Most of them never leave your phone at all — the privacy policy lists exactly what does.
When you join a team, the other members can see when you start a focus session and which class it is for, unless you turn that off in Settings. When you send a class schedule, anyone holding that link can open it. Share links with people you mean to share them with.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post anything that is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, or that targets someone for who they are, and you may not share anything you do not have the right to share. Messages containing blocked terms are refused before they are posted.
You can report any message and block any person from inside a conversation. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; offending content is removed and the account that posted it is closed. Blocking someone hides their messages from you immediately.
Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple Account. It renews at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Payment and refunds are handled by Apple.
Premium's study agent sends the text it needs — such as your task titles, dates and class names — to Anthropic's Claude model to answer you, only when you use it. See the privacy policy. Its suggestions are suggestions: check dates and plans yourself, and nothing it proposes changes your planner until you accept it.
Deadliner is provided as it is. It is a planner, not a backup service and not a system of record: keep anything you cannot afford to lose somewhere else as well. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, and we are not liable for missed deadlines, lost work, or any other loss arising from using or being unable to use the app, to the fullest extent the law allows.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the app after that means the new terms apply.
